THEIR SELF-MADE MEDIA BUBBLE IS THEIR BALL AND CHAIN
The informationally disadvantaged - it effects their direct future the most
The following quotes are my attempt to address some of the results for which I postulate results from the steady diet of the Fox ‘News’ and other right wing media sources upon our fellow Americans. Everyone ends up being hurt in the whole sordid phenomenon, especially that of the lowly consumer of such propaganda. But indeed it weakens the nation, and in the end most likely hurt the moneyed interests who are behind it all. Can anyone honestly look at the Republican Party in 2023 honestly without very large amounts of pessimism for the future of this group. My verse attempts to lay it all out. Here is my verse for today:
And I had to find out what a search of ‘Fox News Watcher’ might bring up on X (Twitter). Now the possible danger posed by the extreme radicalization of the right wing media’s victims is utmost on our minds, as on January 6, 2021 we were horrified by the results of what certainly is a factor of wide propaganda consumption. I have not forgotten this number one concern, but I’m expanding the possible effects of the whole phenomenon to include more forms of dysfunction.
False Beliefs —-> Distraction —-> Inattention —-> Stagnation
This is my very amateurish explanation for what is largely befalling the majority of today’s Republicans at all levels. They are hamstrung by their own media, believing and building upon long term conspiracy theories thrown into their feed troughs, the same constituents in the feed making up their only diet for decades now. Four quotes below tries to bring some light. Now these entranced people definitely hurt their cause in the long run, which might be a boon to us, the opposition. But in the long run these ‘informational disadvantaged’ end up contributing to many of our country’s woes, and bring a pigheadedness to prevent any cooperation toward solving any problem.

“Believe it or not, the biggest obstacle for a business owner with any size business is the internal response to the question - 'Now what?' Often this question is followed by a - deer in the headlights - response, which is then followed by stagnation. Following stagnation comes fear.”

I feel that I’m missing something at this juncture which should be obvious in my discussion, but I’m at a lost to put a finger on it right now. I hope today’s writing stimulated some free thinking in those not under the insidious spell of propaganda. That’s all I can really do. Thanks for reading. I have another posting almost ready, but have been contemplating it’s actual value before jumping off the diving board.
