“Every man's talents and advantages are a trust committed to him by his Maker, and for the use or employment of which he is accountable.”
— Webster

It seems the repeated madness is supposed to serve a purpose,
The one who wishes to teach, seems to borrow his plans from a hearse,
As Groundhog Day was only meant to be a movie for fun,
It’s only a lame satire at this point, it needs to be redone,
But perhaps its only value is in tormenting by a Capitalistic curse.

Once Again
Bucking the system, seemingly it’s a never ending struggle to hold on to any actual dignity, it seems this is my ongoing path, I’ve accepted its reality,
So many slaves to career, must always conform, suck up to the deplorables sometimes, do what is told, only a spoke in a crooked wheel,
A group of tech reps at a cellular provider makes sport of a customer of some years, they are told to do so, by who? Yes - maybe by a drugstore deplorable, it really don’t matter this is someone you would never have as a friend, even if only you two existed on the planet,
So many employees are forced to do distasteful work on their stranger of mark, by those without the courage to confront the sworn opponent who thinks differently and is a perceived threat to the system they maintain with an iron grip, out of only fear, it’s their toy box after all.
The game is actually very annoying, there are no lessons of value to be learned in its repeated play, as this opportunity was fulfilled years ago, it seems so childish, because it is, and it all lacks imagination, nor any artfulness,
And of feuds, eventually the reason behind the beginning all is mote, something long over, just some ego or egos (they nourish upon each other) which must be kept alive, as this is all which exists within the polished shell,
Sometimes one side evolves, but it seems not to matter unless it’s both, after all,
One who truly understands the law of karma does not go to a state of sorrow, for there is a season for all things, and seasons sometimes arrive stubbornly, but they arrive nonetheless,
There is some pity which accompanies this game, this broken carousel, and a fair amount of indifference, probably more than a fair amount,
Apparently challenges to some honor are at play, but it’s only some superficial zirconium diamond, the true worth is minimal, an illusion, a mirage,
Someone stuck in the bonds of honor is chained, and is of questionable usefulness.
It’s hard to imagine but the entire American system has declined since the 1960s when it was fashionable to not accept this loaded game, to seek alternatives,
It’s only devolved, out of strategy fueled only by nitro-greed, so much devolution, and it's in a downward spiral, a vortex of darkness,
There is a comfort to too many perhaps in it, but mostly only less fear to play along like told to, put on a good face,
It will not change, that’s apparent in those grasping the handlebars tightly, their control means everything to them, they are naked infants without it,
America could be better, but that takes too much work for these generations, as long as the Big Mac can be purchased all is good, don’t rock golf carts at the country club, hold on tightly to all you possess so the winds don’t blow it into the next county,
And the sheer absurdity is all that can be witnessed now, and pettiness mathematically squared is only more pettiness, what a waste of human effort, when humanity is actually achievable, only disdain can get sensed, it’s the only product,
The hill of beans is still only a hill of beans.
Epilogue
My commentary above may be hard to follow exactly, when writing on a more personal level, one can only hope for reading between lines, and relating to the words at some level. On bucking the system, the MAGA movement comes to mind. What is touted as patriotic fervor, a spirit of 1776, the fighting of perceptions of oppression, are only that, misty perceptions. Manufactured out of whole cloth, passed down from above, handed out like bottled water at a train wreck site in Ohio. They do not realize the true cost of sipping one man’s high quality water with his four letter name attached. The soldiers of this nationalistic psyche follow one man in particular, as he has bellowed out to all ears he is the fighter, their great white hope incarnate, for they are tired of change, it’s frightening after all. Their chosen one, with a personality disorder, indeed fights with all who do not bow, he is even fighting himself, as that is his hard wiring. This makes no difference to the culturally bereaved, those downtrodden within their own minds, just fight, that's all we can fathom to do.
This movement is one only to harden the system, allowing less flexibility, and to insure that a near feudal structure be established. It is called a neo-fascist movement by those qualified to say so. This is digression on a large scale, and would result in a much more oppressive nation for all, including to the blue-colored flag wavers and red hat wearers. Bucking the system to these unfortunate fools leads to detrimental effects, which they are incapable of foreseeing. Hardly a 1960s type movement, only a poor replica, and fifty years too late. The lesson being, leave the social movements up to the socially conscious individuals, those with vision, those with expanded minds and souls, a non-grievance invoked and super-fueled by a despot gives no justifiable rationale.
For those in rural areas who do feel the negligence of a government, perhaps with real reason over years of neoliberalism, neglect by all, victims of corporate mergers, yet trained to blame the federal government. It’s doubtful a real estate man from the East Coast may not be one to entrust your land and life to, even if he implies he will fight. And one who must ban books of any kind, being too delicate to debate the merits of thought, must also be discounted as a serious asset to one’s future. Neither of these two could rule with the US Constitution intact and functional, that is crystal clear.
